Cheshire East est une autorité unitaire avec statut d' arrondissement dans le comté de Cheshire en Angleterre . Le siège administratif est à Sandbach .

Cheshire East a été formé le 1er avril 2009 par la fusion des trois districts Congleton , Crewe et Nantwich et Macclesfield . Dans le même temps, le County Council ( County Council ) de Cheshire a été abrogé et ses pouvoirs, en ce qui concerne la région de Cheshire East, ont été transférés au Council of Cheshire East ( Cheshire East Council ). Depuis lors, Cheshire a été divisé en quatre autorités unitaires Cheshire East, Cheshire West et Chester , Warrington et Halton .
