Le Gold Coast Marathon est un marathon qui se déroule à Gold Coast depuis 1979 . Avec le marathon de Melbourne, c'est le plus grand d' Australie . En plus d'un semi-marathon, le programme comprend une course de 10 km depuis 1996 et une course de 5 km depuis 2009.

route

Tous les itinéraires commencent et finissent à Southport . Le marathon se compose de deux tronçons décisifs : le premier s'étend vers le sud à travers Surfers Paradise jusqu'à Burleigh Heads et vice-versa ; la seconde est identique à la course de 10 km et se dirige vers le nord jusqu'à Runaway Bay.

Le semi-marathon est un itinéraire tournant qui est identique au parcours de 10 km dans la première partie puis s'inverse plus au nord à Paradise Point .
