Brenda Bakke est née à Klamath Falls, dans l'Oregon. Elle a grandi à Portland et a commencé à travailler sur des productions locales à un jeune âge avant de déménager à Los Angeles pour étudier le théâtre à l' American Academy of Dramatic Arts .

L'apparence la plus célèbre de Brenda Bakke était dans le film Hot Shots! La deuxième tentative aux côtés de Charlie Sheen .
